About This Website

This website is owned and operated by Barbara (Crafts By Barbs), based in New Zealand.

 

Orders and Payment

 

When you place an order, you're making an offer to purchase. Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.
 

Payments are taken securely through Stripe. All prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD).
I don't currently charge GST — Crafts By Barbs is not GST-registered.

 

Please double-check your order details carefully before completing payment, especially sizes, designs, spellings, and quantities. If you spot a mistake after ordering, contact me as soon as possible at craftsbybarbs@gmail.com and I'll do my best to fix it before I start making your order.

 

Custom and Made-to-Order Products

Almost everything I make is created specifically for you after your order is placed.Once I've started making your item, I'm unable to accept changes or cancellations. Before production begins, I'll do my best to accommodate requests — just get in touch quickly.

 

Because your item is made to your specifications, I'm unable to offer returns or refunds simply because you've changed your mind. Please see the Returns and Refunds section below.

 

Production and Shipping Timeframes

 

Please allow approximately 3–7 working days for me to create and prepare your order before it's dispatched.

Some more complex or detailed orders may take a little longer — I'll always let you know if that's the case.

Shipping is via NZ Post.

Estimated delivery times start from the date of dispatch, not the date of your order:

New Zealand Courier: next working day (target, not guaranteed)

New Zealand Economy: 2–3 working days

New Zealand Rural Delivery: as above, plus NZ Post rural surcharge applies

Australia: 2–3 working days via international courier

 

These are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside my control, including courier delays.

 

Returns and Refunds

 

Because my products are custom-made, I'm unable to accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or significantly different from what you ordered, please get in touch within 7 days of receiving it. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos and we can find a solution. 

 

Your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (New Zealand) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 are not limited by anything in these terms.
If you're an Australian customer, your rights under Australian Consumer Law also apply.

 

Handmade Variations

 

Handmade products, including glitter cups, snowglobe cups, and other creations, may have small natural variations in glitter placement, colours, or finishes. This is part of what makes each piece unique and is not considered a fault.
I always aim to make your order as close as possible to the design you've chosen.

 

Intellectual Property

 

All original content, photographs, branding, and designs created by Crafts By Barbs remain the property of Crafts By Barbs unless otherwise stated.

Some designs, including UV DTF wraps, transfers, and other decorative elements, are sourced from third-party suppliers.
Ownership and copyright of these designs remain with their respective creators or copyright holders.

You're more than welcome to share photos of your purchases on social media, I would appreciate if you would tag @craftsbybarbs

However, please don't copy, reproduce, or use any original Crafts By Barbs designs, photographs, or website content for commercial purposes without prior permission.

 

Limitation of Liability

 

I take great care with every order. However, to the extent permitted by law, Crafts By Barbs is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from your purchase or use of this website.

 

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under New Zealand consumer law.

I take your privacy seriously. Please see my Privacy Policy for full details on how I collect and use your personal information.

I may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
